Hello to all our friends of the Gig Harbor Film Festival…

We are kicking into our 6th year with gusto!!!  Mark your calendar, October 18 – 20, 2013.  Already in the planning stage of another exciting year of wonderful films, visiting filmmakers and guest from in town, out of town and all around town.

Due to your continued support, Gig Harbor Film Festival (GHFF) has grown into a prominent, annual tradition for our beautiful community of Gig Harbor.   Our Board of Directors thanks you, our great group of volunteers’ thank you and our staff thank you.

As you know, each year GHFF introduces  guest celebrities:  David DePatie, Executive Producer of the animated Pink Panther, Hal Linden, the friendly cop on Barney Miller, world renowned Julie Andrews and this past year's surprise guest, Josh Lucas.   How fun for our community to meet not only those with famous names….but also, those talented, yet to be known…independent filmmakers from our northwest and those arriving from out of state.   We are honored to bring filmmakers to our festival as they introduce their work in film and offer some ‘behind the scenes’ question and answers.

It Takes a Harbor to bring a quality film festival to our community….to bring positive awareness to our community, increase retail sales…and additional tourism.   Thank you for all you do supporting this event and those smaller events we will bring throughout the year…..keep your ear to the ground and your eyes toward the prize….
