The First Annual Gig Harbor Film Festival

Gig Harbor hosts its first annual film festival this year, September 11-14, 2008, with 20 films to include features, documentaries, shorts, and foreign films.

The festival starts with a VIP reception(invitation only) and opening cinema, ''Outsourced'', followed by a variety of films to be shown at the Galaxy Uptown Theater. On Friday night, a special ''Midnight Madness'' feature will show at 11:00 p.m. On Saturday we host an ''open-to-all'' Outdoor Cinema Party with local entertainment, activites, and refreshments, followed by an outdoor movie screening at Jerisich Park in downtown Gig Harbor. On Sunday, Sept. 14, our ''It's a Wrap'' brunch will highlight awards of appreciation for participants and supporters.
